Our Philosophy
Built Around What Recovery Actually Needs
Spirit in Nature exists because we believe the environment matters. The right home — structured, connected to nature, and filled with genuine community — can make a meaningful difference in a woman's recovery.
Why Spirit in Nature
Sober living works best when it feels like a real home — not a facility, not a program, not a stepping stone to rush through. Spirit in Nature was created to build residences where women in recovery can live with structure, breathe in nature, connect with community, and grow into the next chapter of their lives. Tranquility House at Mesquite Meadows is the first. Our intention is to grow thoughtfully, adding residences that share the same values and the same commitment to quality.
Structure
The Foundation of Recovery
Structure isn't about control — it's about creating the conditions where recovery can happen. Consistent routines, clear expectations, and shared accountability give residents the stability they need to focus on what matters. At Spirit in Nature, structure is built into daily life in a way that feels supportive rather than restrictive. Clear expectations, consistent routines, and shared accountability help create a stable environment where residents can focus on moving forward one day at a time.
Nature
The Healing Power of Place
There is something about being in nature — the open sky, the quiet, the rhythm of living things — that supports the kind of reflection and restoration that recovery requires. Our residences are intentionally located in natural settings. Mesquite Meadows is a working ranch, and that environment is part of what makes Tranquility House different. Tranquility House is set within the natural environment of Mesquite Meadows, with access to outdoor spaces, animals, gardens, and the peaceful surroundings of the ranch.
Connection
Recovery Happens in Community
Isolation is one of recovery's greatest obstacles. Spirit in Nature residences are intentionally small — communities of women who share daily life, support one another, and hold each other accountable. Connection is built through shared meals, shared responsibilities, and the simple act of living together with intention. Shared living creates opportunities for women to support one another, build healthy relationships, and experience a sense of belonging while continuing their individual recovery journeys.
Growth
Building a Life Worth Living
Recovery is not just about stopping — it's about building. At Spirit in Nature, residents are supported in developing the skills, habits, and confidence they need for what comes next. Wellness activities, purposeful daily structure, and a community that believes in each resident's potential all contribute to meaningful personal growth. Purposeful routines, everyday responsibilities, practical life skills, and opportunities for greater independence help residents prepare for a healthy transition into their next chapter.
A Growing Family of Residences
Spirit in Nature is a parent brand — a framework for building sober-living communities that share the same values and the same commitment to quality. Tranquility House at Mesquite Meadows is our first residence. As we grow, each new Spirit in Nature home will be grounded in the same four principles: structure, nature, connection, and growth.
We grow thoughtfully — one residence at a time, with the same care and intention that defines everything we do.
